This accident occured on Saturday. The newspaper posted this photo, but have no details regarding how this happened. What do you think happened?
Here is a map around where the accident occured... The intersection of Tamiami Trail and Mecca

Lower car moving at a high rate of speed hits SUV that is a little higher from the side. Lower car goes under like a wedge and flips it on its side. The third car is just collateral damage.

I can't figure out what could have happened, but living about 25 minutes from there, I can confirm that anything could have with the driving standards around here. Maybe the SUV/truck tried making a left even though the white car was going straight? That's the only thing that I can think of with an impact there and the car being dragged into that car at the stop sign.

I have a sneaking suspicion that stupidity and/or inattention was involved.

I bet the 911 was speeding. The Dodge either thought he had enough time or wasn;t paying attention and the Porsche slammed on the brakes causing the nose to dive and go under the Dodge flipping it onto the sedan. The Porsche owner then lost his shit in what was probably described as something like a 5 year old's temper tantrum.

I would've loved to have been there to see the 911 driver. I guarantee you he was flipping out! Especially since he lost his car to a late 90s/early 00s Dodge.

The Accord confused me the most. Just because I don't know how the Porsche could've moved the Dodge so much

JQJ213, in which state did this happen along Hwy 41? I live near it in Kennesaw, GA.

Down in Sarasota, Fl. Sadly a bit far away!

Florida? Then odds are it involved Oxycotin and some hokey pain clinic.

Yeah but look at the damage to the truck... the FRAME is even bent. Me thinks he was hit by something else, and spun into the 911's path.

Isn't it obvious? The car fell asleep while driving.

Looks to me like the truck made a left when they should have waited. Convertible turns right slightly in an attempt to avoid the accident. This happened so close to the intersection when the truck hit the sedan it stopped and the convertible with a much lower bumper compared to the side of the truck caused the truck to roll onto the car sitting at the stop sign.

Dodge tried to to turn (WHY DID YOU TURN?!) and the Porrrrchee was going way faster than he should have been. Plowed the dodge into the Beigemobile.
Dodge is a total loss, I'm surprised the Porrrrschee doesn't look worse. Beigemobile is probably also a total loss.

Trophy wife of retiree wasn't paying attention because of masturbation(being Florida), runs red light, and pounds the Durango.

Force is a function of velocity so even a lighter object could project enough enough force to tip the dodge. The porsche is what 2/3rds the weight of the dodge? With enough velocity that gap disappears.
